 Hi :) i was looking for some recs where Justin and Brian as a couple encounter or meet homophobes, or just people who don't really understand.

May I recommend, if you haven't already, read Conzieu's In His Kiss (http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/AU.htm) with it's sequel -currently a WIP being posted over at bj_fic- Chapter 1 (http://community.livejournal.com/bjfic/2779540.html#cutid1).
The sequel I believe has 2 separate encounters of homophobia, the second arcing over a couple of chapters.

FYI it's an AU where Brian and Justin first meet in New York city, in 2005
