 Hi :) i was looking for some recs where Justin and Brian as a couple encounter or meet homophobes, or just people who don't really understand.

Try Chapter 6 (http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/WF/EX6.htm) of Wren's Experiment (http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/WF/EX.htm). It's a fic in which Brian experiments with monogamy. In this chapter, Justin gets roughed up by homophobes at PIFA only to come home to one in the loft.

Or this bit (http://www.kinnetik.org/adventures/pages/as014.htm) of quinn222's Adventures (http://www.kinnetik.org/adventures/index.htm). Brian and Justin travel the world and we get to read their letters and journals. This journal entry is for their visit to Emmett's hometown.

I'm reading Adventures again. I love the whole series, and re-read them all about once a year.

I regularly blame Quinn for my newest fandom and obsession. She doesn't mind. lol

May I recommend, if you haven't already, read Conzieu's In His Kiss (http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/AU.htm) with it's sequel -currently a WIP being posted over at bj_fic- Chapter 1 (http://community.livejournal.com/bjfic/2779540.html#cutid1).
The sequel I believe has 2 separate encounters of homophobia, the second arcing over a couple of chapters.

FYI it's an AU where Brian and Justin first meet in New York city, in 2005

I hope I remember correctly, but don't Brian and Justin encounter some bible-thumping homophobes in plumsuede's EAO?

And I remember another scene where Brian (and Justin) go to buy a child safety seat for Gus and the salesman (woman?) was a homophobe. Is that from Wren's Experiment?
