I rarely use FF.net but someone recommended a story called "By the Water of Babylon". It's supposed to be a spin from the actual book written by Stephen Vincent but with a QAF twist. I just started reading it, but now when I go to the chapter I'm immediately transfered to a stupid page that's adverticing food! Usually I just refresh my screen and it goes away, but no luck with that this time.

Even when I go directly to the main FF.net page, I'm still moved towards some adverticement and even if I click to go back, it doesn't work. Am I right in assuming that there's some sort of problem with their pop ups? I mean, how are we supposed to read anything if every two seconds the page is being refreshed with another pop up....

Anyways, does anyone know where I can find this story? I don't remember the author, and I was just in chapter 1 to be honest, but the whole idea of the story caught my attention, so now I would like to read it.

Thanks,

Silvia ~

Edit: Plenty of suggestions on how to solve this problem can be found in the comments. Thanks everyone :D!!!!!!!!

Or if you use Firefox as your browser, install the AdBlock Plus (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865/) add-on and be ad-free on every website. I haven't seen ads on sites in so long, I forget they exist! ;)

Another FF add-on I installed recently is called Ghostery (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/9609/). It blocks tracking cookies, and shows who they blocked.
