Okay so I'm looking for a specific. I haven't read it but it was mentioned before. I'm thinking maybe its a story you can download from one of the links on the side. I'm so sorry that I suck at helping you find it. Maybe I could find the post but its hard I'm on my cellphone

There's a great fic called "Eye of the Beholder", by Rena. Brian is hurt by Jack, and Joan takes care of him (maybe because she feels guilty she didn't stop Jack, IDK). Years later, he lives with her and with a dog named Topper. He starts working as an adman after he leaves uni, and meets Justin. It's a great story.
