Okay I'm looking for two fics I know exist. In the first one joan has a stroke and eventhough brian hates her he moves her in with he and justin and she slowly comes around. The other fic joan has a stroke ans brian takes her in but she is trying to help him find someone she thinks justin is perfect he's her nurse.

Now another note is there a story out there where brian can't talk and he meets justin
