Hi! Okay, so I am looking for this fic where Lindsay and Mel are broken up, but Mel wants custody of Gus. And somehow Brian is involved, I think Lindsay is being a bitch and takes him to court for somthing? And Linds and her lawyer are planning to make Brian look really bad by bringing up his reputation, but things get turned around when Linds starts lying and Brian's lawyer nails her on the stand. And then Mel has an emphiany and drops her case? I would really like to find this fic, I already looked through all the tags and thought I found it once, but it wasn't the right one!!!!!!

I wrote a fantasy S5 many years ago. I honestly don't recall the precise plot order, but there was a major custody trial. The series was called "Breaking Away." The main series had 13 episodes, with 512 appearing in two posts on LJ because it was so long.
