   Brian and Justin are 8 years apart and their mothers are best friends. So when Justin is two and his parents die in a car accident, he goes to live with the Kinney’s. Brian protects him until his 18th birthday, when he leaves home and doesn’t return for 11 years. By the time he comes back everyone has moved on.
