Hey guys, I've been an avid qaf fandom reader for a couple of years now, and I thought I'd read all the good stuff. Just last week, though, I came across a request for Nightvision's Bird on a Wire that was posted at fanfiction.net. I had never read that, and it was amazing! I've tended to avoid that particular archive because it is not very well organized IMO, and frankly, I've stumbled on to way too much Bad!fic there. Are there other fandom gems that I've missed because I've turned up my nose at fanfiction.net? Looking forward to your recs!

...two that I absolutely love on FF.Net are two stories that happen to have the same title: "Family Matters" by angelus1: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2873411/1/bFamily_b_bMatters_b And "Family Matters" by thghtlsscmng: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2746153/1/bFamily_b_bMatters_b The one by angelus1 is a short humorous story where teen Gus has to decide who will be at his HS graduation. It's also called, "It's Good to be a Kinney."

The second one is sort of an anti-Mel story where Lindsay died and Brian never got to know Gus because Mel didn't want him to. But when Gus turns 18 he decides to go find his father who is living happily with Justin and also waiting for Gus to turn 18 so he can go see him...
