Emmett's Family

Am I hallucinating when I think I remember a scene where the guys were out in public someplace and Emmett starts yell/talking to a couple (a man and a woman) who ignore him, and then somebody says that was his parents? 

Anyway, I'm looking for Emmett-centric fic that explores Emmett's relationship with his family - past or present.  I've read a bunch of what's in MEMORIES and TAGS and, although there are a number of stories that include Emmett, i haven't found anything like this yet.  Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

You're describing the British series. Alexander (the British counterpart to Emmett) had a scene like this in QAF UK.
