I'm a complete lurker but I appreciate any help that can be given.

I'm looking for a fic that I read a long time ago. All I remember is that Brian and Justin are apart and if I remember correctly, Brian and family don't know where he is. Justin lives in some type of apartment complex by himself. He paints these great pictures but for some reason he doesn't like them, so he throws them away out back. An art dealer walks by, likes the pictures and wants to talk to him. The landlord and the art dealer walk in just after Justin tries to commit suicide. They (art dealer and Justin) become great friends and eventually Justin and Brian are back together again. To hide the suicide attempt he wears some type of leather wrist band given to him by his friend, the art dealer. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
