Rodney, PTSD/trauma and Protective!Brian

This is a question about the series. Where did Rodney go after Vic's death. He's just sorta not there anymore....

Also, I was wondering if there are any fics with PTSD about the bashing or bombing, or fics in which one of the boys is involved in some sort of disaster or problem that brings back flashbacks or PTSD or bad memories or something. I've read all the fics in the tags, mostly.
Along the same line, I'm wondering if there are any fics of Protective!Brian that take place after season 3 and onward, including post-513.

We aren't told what happens to Rodney. He shows up at Deb's for the Christmas party, and is there for the dedication of Vic Grassi House. I'm sure he's still around, volunteering at the hospice.

Rodney clearly had his own life & circle of friends (former roomies, people from the dinner party) and was only in the clique through Vic.

With Vic dead, it makes sense that he would only be around for Vic related events...like the Xmas party & dediation.

We never saw him before Vic...so that was how it played in my mind.
