Anti-Lindsay fic where Justin watches ducks in the park

I'm hoping someone will be able to help me track down a fic I've been trying to find for weeks with no success.

The part of it I remember is that it was an anti-Lindsay fic and Justin at one point ends up watching three ducks (2 male and 1 female) in the park.  The female duck is interested in one of the males who in turn is more interested in the smaller male, so in turn the jealous female is hostile to that one, Justin likens the 3 ducks to himself,  Brian and Lindsay.  I think that at some point Brian buys Justin a wooden ring inlayed with stones that mirror the male ducks colours.

(Hope this doesn't sound too bizarre but i couldn't really figure out how to explain it any better)
