Outer-space!Future!fic - Brian & Justin in a galaxy far, far away.

 So I read this fic forever ago, and I don't remember where.  It was set waaaaaay in the future on different planet. (several actually)  Brian and Justin were from opposing/rival alien races.  Justin had this tiger/panther companion cat....Kira or Kyra?  something like that.  They had some sort of connection & they could commune telepathically.  Mysterious Marilyn was in it as well, and she had magical powers of some sort.  I also think Justin was the prince of his particular race.


Does anyone know what story I'm talking about, or am I totally nuts?  I swear it exists!

I think it might be 'The General and the Commander'. What I remember of this one is that the night of the Prom, a number of people are taken from Earth by aliens and Justin is one of them. The ones taken have no memory of their life on Earth, but Justin/Brian have their connection still. Brian becomes some powerful politician and somehow they get reunited. And Mystic Marilyn is helping Brian out.

mmm, I don't think that's it. The one I'm thinking of Brian and Justin were really aliens. Not green & slimey or anything, but definitely not human.

However the one you mentioned sounds interesting too! If you ever find that I'd love the link.

Not sure how much help I will be... but I remember reading something similar too.

The Cat was named Beam, Brian knew him when he had a human form. Now he is Justin's protector, who is a Prince. The Cat sneaks Justin to the local "Babylon" where Brian has been exiled by an evil/jealous Michael. Brian is a Genie, maybe...

Brian was able to heal Justin after he was injured.

lies.... Sry! I do know which one you mean. I actually just read it not long ago. Yes Brian was a genie & Mikey put him there b/c he couldn't have him. Also a really good story, but not quite the one I'm imagining.

At one point Brian is flying an actual space ship & gets stranded on a strange planet, with Lindsay & Mel I think...
