Brian Suffering From Bad Childhood Memories

I only remember a small part of this story and it's bugging me because I swear I just read it. I think Justin had gone to Chicago (possibly, maybe?) to paint a mural. Brian comes and visits him and Brian hears Justin's neighbors arguing and threatening their son. This makes Brian uncomfortable because it brings back childhood memories, I guess. Brian tells Justin he booked a hotel room and they leave. Later Justin tells Brian that he heard someone go over to the neighbor's apartment and offer therapy and all of this other stuff to prevent protective services from immediately getting involved. Justin knows it was Brian but Brian says that it doesn't matter because they'll never change.
