Are there any fics where Brian is a politician and Justin is a kid working on his campaign team, or anything similar? I looked through the tags and didn't see anything related to it.

This sort of fits your request. Brian takes down Stockwell, and through a series of strange events, he ends up running for Mayor of Pittsburgh. The fic is called "The Candidate" by Thyme.

Justin helps out with Brian's campaign (but isn't part of the team), and stand by Brian through out the campaign and term in office. These fics are very good reads and I highly recommend them! :)

Valerie Lewis's Brian Kinney Saves the Universe (http://www.valerielewis.net/bj/universe.html) - a lovely little blend of crack and...whatever the opposite of crack is that isn't quite srs bsns. Brian decides to run for Senator, and Justin designs the posters and is pretty much Justin for the rest of the story.
