QAF/Johnny Weir crossover

What can I say? Someone on my flist (names withheld to protect the guilty) has gotten me into watching Be Good Johnny Weir, and reading skate FF. Which has me jonesing for some QAF/Johnny Weir crossover.

Does it exist? For some reason, I can see this.

OMG, I am just now starting to watch this show too and I LOVE it. I would definitely be up for some qaf/Johnny fic! If it doesn't exist, I hope someone gets on it lol.

The only person I know even attempting something remotely like this is Xie, who's working on a B/J as Olympic skaters. It won't be a crossover.

Funny thing is, I don't have the first clue as to the Johnny Weir orgasms going on on my flist. He does nothing for me as a skater. Brian Boitano and Scott Hamilton, and, until his assholery at this Olympics, Yvgeny Plushenko were my favorite skaters.

Okay, so here's the thing, and I blame it totally on Rhi for sucking me into her current fandom. (oh, but I went willingly)

Johnny Weir is as snarky as Brian, as queeny as Emmett and as girly as Justin. And yet he is very much a Brian character.

He refuses to discuss who he's sleeping with (a very Brian, if I'm not fucking you, it's none of your business).

I am enamored of the Be Good Johnny Weir character -- which even Johnny claims not be entirely the true him. He has parlayed himself into a commodity and sold it to... well just about everyone. He admits at 25 he's over the hill. He admits he like fashion (and again, a rival to Brian in that area too). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-9ZHOjQaCs

And I swear, the person known as Anon who is writing FF for the skating slash folks is a QAF writer. At least two of the fics that I have read -- which have been hilarious -- are Johnny Weir channeling Brian's snark to Evan Lysacek's Ted.

Even more so, there was an interview on YouTube where the interviewer actually said/asked "You are who you are, no apologies, no regrets." I need to find the exact interview.

I do think that he handled himself quite well in the face of the two Canadian Sports commentators who made the remarks that he should take a "gender test" and was "too gay for figure skating".
