Well, in the Superstar verse, Brian and Justin are both porn stars. Justin is new to the scene, Brian a veteran who takes Justin right under his wing from Day 1.

The sequel to the fic, Visible fastforwards to the future, where Brian is an actor, like, a proper one, and Justin an assistant Art Director who happens to be working on the show Brian is on.

It's a great series, and I enjoyed it. Give it a go!

There're categories for B/J Different Professions in the Tags and Memories. Have you checked them?

Vamp also wrote Visible (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=vamphile&keyword=Visible&filter=all) about Brian as an actor (the same Brian from Superstar, maybe) who gets a series called "Vanished."

And [livejournal.com profile] netfics wrote Vanishing Act (http://netfics.livejournal.com/tag/vanishing%20act), also about Brian getting cast in "Vanished."

At the risk of incurring the wrath of certain people...

"Queer Theories," Queer Realities," "Queer Identities":
Brian is an actor, goes to Hollywood at the start of "QT"
and films throughout all three series.

"Bell, Book & Candle" (on the LJ, links on the Index page):
Brian is an actor in 1950's NYC at the Actors Studio.

Some people (NOT the kind mods of this site) have
taken me to task for "reccing" my own stories, so I
always hesitate.

The sequel to BB&C is probably on for this summer.
I'm still working out the plotting.

Actually, on the Index page above there's also
the "West Hollywood" series -- Brian is also an
actor making a gay cable series that takes place
in West Hollywood. It was never finished, but there's
a lot of info on the actual making of "QAF" in it,
so it might be of interest.

Getting caught up on some tagging. We definitely do not prohibit or even raise an eyebrow over self-reccing.

We don't believe in hiding your lights, er, fics, under the proverbial bushel around here!

I'm writing one called "From Set to Reality". If you want, you can read it here (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=way_to_the_end&keyword=From%20Set%20To%20Reality&filter=all).
