Hi! Does anyone know where I can find a working links for 'Painting lessons' and 'Noir' by jans_intentions? Or if anyone has them saved somewhere, could you possibly send them to me via e-mail? (magdalena.moja@gmail.com)Her/His journal was deleted and I had no luck finding the fics anywhere...

EDIT: Apparently the author doesn't want her fics to be distributed anywhere.

Jan pulled her fanfic and the moderators agreed to abide by her request (or that of any other author should they make the same request) not to offer the fics for emailing or downloading within the community.

Please don't ask for Jan's stories as she now write's original fiction and is a published author. She deleted her fan fic, and eventually her Journal when she decided to do this. Her fiction can be found under the name of Jan Irving at Dreampinner

Anyone can ask for any fic they want. Whether the response is that it's available publicly online, here in this comm via email or download, or privately off-comm, or not available, doesn't have anything to do with a member making a request.

getithere doesn't censor or discourage any requests for any author or topic or genre for any reason.

Not only the rule about not offering jan's fics here on this comm, but also we *stongly discourage*, i.e., delete "me, too" posts.

I'm not sure about being massacred, but if an author pulled down her/his fic, it's not to have them emailed through there ....

Almost always, someone has previously saved it to their hard drive and is willing to email a copy of the fic or is willing to upload to a file-sharing site, which is fine and encouraged. If we are notified by an author that their fics have been taken down and they make a "no-share" request, we'll inform a requester that those particular fics aren't available for sharing *via this community*. As of now, the only author we're aware of who's made that request is [info]jans_intentions.
