Yeah, subject pretty much says it all, lol
There's always Gale/Randy and more Gale/Randy, but what about Gale/Yara?
Anyone spotted fics with that pairing? (Preferable funny ones, but since I doubt this pairing is overpopular I'm not picky here, lol )

Ahh, thanks @ explanation.
I was thinking about weird things like RPH and the like, lol

and that icon... I'm embarrassed to say now that it took me only a few minutes ^^;
But I'll soon make a post where I offer it with other usernames or even different pictures, so if you'd like a personal one of that kind, stay tuned ;)

I started with one of the little rectangles, made the border, then 4 layers for the dots. Since I have brushes for tiny dotty frames that was no problem, I just had to reverse the colors (black and white)
then I put all 5 layers into one set and duplicated the set, then expanded the icon to 100x100, moved the 2nd set of layers to another corner, rotated it and made another 2 duplicate-set-thingies.
moved them into the other corners.
then removed the set-folders and put all layers with the 'same' content onto one single layer, so I had 5 layers again.
then picked 4 pictures, resized them and put them behind the frame-layer, switched to image read and animated it. it only has 4 frames.
all in one this took ca. 10 min since I exactley knew how I wanted it to look. it was only lots of mouse-clicking, nothing with musing and trying out different things ^^°

it never takes long for me to *make* icons, that what takes the longest is to decide which pictures I use and how I crop them, lol

if you're a bit experienced in photoshop, then it's no biggie, believe me ;)
everyone is good and fast in the thing he/she did for years - so for example I need several hours to draw a pencil portrait of someone, but someone else who draws since many years can do it in maybe 20 min ^^

oh yeah the paperclip, haha

Boinking I first heard way back, like, WAY back. Then, it kinda came back into vogue in Lethal Weapon 4.

And yeah, the play thing...meh. I've seen him in QAF, Particles Of Truth, The Unseen, and I have a copy of Rhinoceros Eyes that I haven't watched yet. That's good enough for me. He was okay in the other two movies, but...I think his best was QAF.

Randy, though...I thought his role in Bang, Bang, You're Dead was better. But he has more acting and stage experience, so, there you go.

And it is not pretty. Creepy, yes. Pretty, no. And that's also why I don't really like RPS/RPF... kinda creepy and stalkerish... *shrug*

I don't get the appeal of Mary Sue-ing in general. If I wanted to write about myself, I'd go write diary or something.

As far as RPS goes, I've long deprived myself of the joy of (well written) Gale/Randy RPS, categorizing it as creepy as well. But I've come to think of it as another fictional pairing of sorts and now consider it a valuable addition to my fanfic reading pool. :)

Oh, btw, we weren't bashing, just discussing the RPS and Mary Sue. There are a lot of things in this fandom that don't apply to others, as I'm sure you know. RPS is around, it's just that it's usually Randy and Gale, not Gale and girlfriend. And Mary Sue...well, in any fandom it's bad, in this one it's worse, mostly because our canon characters are gay. Having them be with a woman that isn't Daphne (S1 only) or Lindsay (pre-series only) is like, unholy. I take it you've been around awhile and prolly know this. People that are new to fandom, they don't know that certain types of fics are either hard to find or aren't spoken of.

Okay, and TOTALLY off topic...I want one of those cute boxy sparkly icon thingies like you have. Cause it's shiny. I like shiny.
