I started with one of the little rectangles, made the border, then 4 layers for the dots. Since I have brushes for tiny dotty frames that was no problem, I just had to reverse the colors (black and white) then I put all 5 layers into one set and duplicated the set, then expanded the icon to 100x100, moved the 2nd set of layers to another corner, rotated it and made another 2 duplicate-set-thingies. moved them into the other corners. then removed the set-folders and put all layers with the 'same' content onto one single layer, so I had 5 layers again. then picked 4 pictures, resized them and put them behind the frame-layer, switched to image read and animated it. it only has 4 frames. all in one this took ca. 10 min since I exactley knew how I wanted it to look. it was only lots of mouse-clicking, nothing with musing and trying out different things ^^°
it never takes long for me to *make* icons, that what takes the longest is to decide which pictures I use and how I crop them, lol
