Justin fights to win Brian back

Hey everyone,

I read a fic a long time ago and now I've been looking for it for a week and I can't find it. Can anybody help me?

It was post-513 - I think - or maybe post-Ethan (I think it was the former but I'm not sure). Justin realizes that he made a big mistake leaving Brian for NY (or was it for the fiddler?) and goes back to the Pitts. They haven't seen each other for a long time. The problem is that Brian doesn't want Justin back. Not that he doesn't love Justin anymore, it's just that he gave up, because he firmly believes that Justin doesn't love him and never really did, because he left, and it was not the first time. So Brian avoids any contact with Justin and won't take him back, afraid of losing him again, I think.

They end up together, of course, but I don't remember how it happens. All I know is that Justin has to fight a lot to win Brian's trust back.

I don't know if I'm mixing two stories, maybe I am. But the main point is that Justin fights to win Brian back. Does it ring any bells?

I think I know the one you're talking about, but the title is beyond me.

Do they meet in Woody's the first time, but Brian walks out, inviting Justin back to the loft if he wants to continue to talk? Then Justin sends Brian gifts to prove he knows and loves Brian?

Unfortunately, I can't remember. I read the fic a long time ago. It was different because Brian is always the one trying to win Justin, but in this one it was Justin doing the hard work because Brian didn't want to try anymore.

OMG, I think it's this: It's Something Beautiful! I just read the first chapter now and Brian and Justin were acting just the way I remember! Thanks a lot!

One of my all time favorites. I hope you have a lot of reading time b/c after she wrote Something Beautiful she followed it up with The IM Sessions and her current WIP is Everything which is the next in the series. She is amazing :) Happy reading!!
