Are there any stories where B and J don't end up together. Maybe Justin finally has enough and some guy comes and sweeps him off his feet who is genuine for a change. Or someone hooks him up with one of their friends who's also looking for someone?

I know there is a fic where Justin ends up with Ben. I don't remember the name of the story or the author, but I remember reading it: it's a short one shot ficlet.

Check the getitthere TAGS for brian/other and Justin/other. There are good recs posted there. Also, Arwensong has a multi-chapter fic universe called "Better Friends and Lovers" over at Moonshadow Tribe. It's post 513 with Justin firmly in NY and Brian getting together with someone else. They do not end up together in this one.
