hi, so I was watching "how to lose a guy in ten days" and was wondering if there are any fics based on that movie or fics with similar plot.or they fake dating for some reason, could be one of them or both and they know,

I don't know of one based on that movie, but here's a couple of fics where they fake dating, B pretends to be J's boyfriend, then of course it becomes real :)

I remember a fic that mirrored the movie 40 days and 40 nights, but of course I read it years ago and can't remember the author. Can anyone else help out?

I think I read it in midnight whispers and the fic was unfinished, just to be sure is it where the gang makes bet in who would hold the longer in not having sex and then Brian meets Justin and have to work hard to keep the bet.and I just found the link:

Along this same vein is "The Bet" by Draccone. The guys bet Brian that he isn't capable of keeping a boyfriend. Brian, of course, takes them up on it and must establish and keep up a relationship with a guy of their choosing.

I hope someone can come up with what the orinal poster is looking for. I love "How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days" and think it would be a fun premise for a B/J fanfic.

I saved this fic that's a take on Cruel Intentions/Dangerous Liaisons, by Dleigh. It used to be archived on BJFIC. Don't remember it well but Michael seems to inhabit the role of Sarah Michelle Gellar, plotting to destroy his stepbrother Brian in seducing the virginal Justin. From my quick rereading, it seems to be pretty awesome. Lemme know if you're still interested.
