I know that this author has taken down from the web all of her fan fics, but I was wondering if someone has a copy of this story "Noir" in which Brian is a cop, saved on the computer and could e-mail it to me.

Just to let you know. I did contact her a while ago and she very graciously responded, but was adamant that she would not be sharing her QAF fics ever again because she is planning to rework them into 'original' character fics.

I bought two of her e-fics on-line and enjoyed them...but they are NOT the B/J verse and that is what I enjoy reading most. (obsessed much?)

I most certainly acknowledge that they are a testament to her creativity and talent and of course, as such, her property to do with as she sees fit. That being said, I hate like hell that those of us who have come so late to the fandom are deprived of reading what I understand are some of the best fics out there.

Okay, rant over. If anyone agrees with me and wishes to send me any of her fics my email addy is ant_us@rocketmail.com.

This. I wish I'd gotten here earlier. Or that she'd done something more along the lines of the Harry Potter author Maya who gave her readers about a year's advanced notice before pulling fics, and compiled them all in a file for convenient reading.

I hear great things about her fics but I guess I'll never know for myself.
