All I remember is, they meet later,(AU?). They both had kids. I think they moved in together in the loft, can be a house too. One of the kids died in an accident and I believe it was Gus.
I tried the memories and the tags, but couldn't find it.

ETA: It may be, the story I'm looking for is called "Family guys", but no link is
found so far.
