This usually isn't really my thing but I just saw "She's like the wind" on mtv and thought that there is something "brianesque" about Johnny. So... I was wondering if there are any fics inspired by the plot of Dirty Dancing?

There was a fic called 'time of my life' by Julia which was on the old midnight whispers site. Someone asked for that fic quite a while ago and someone commented on the post saying they had spoken to the author and she would be putting it up on the new midnight whispers site or on her lj or something but unfortunately that never happened.

That was quite a few months ago now, so unless someone has the fic saved and can send it to people, I don't think it will be put up by the author as it has been months, maybe even a year and it still hasn't been put up anywhere.

It was me that said I would get in touch with Julia and find out if she was going to repost her fic "Time of Your Life". She was going to. I did find out. I will email her again and find out and let you know.

She was working at reposting all her fics at MW and her LJ since MW went down and all of them were gone.

She is a friend of mine so I will check with her again on it. :)

I think this could work... IMO Brian wouldn't be a problem, I'm more worried about Justin being too OCC

I haven't read any B/J fics inspired by Dirty Dancing, but I've read of a couple Brian/Michael fics. I don't know if that's your thing, but if it is, you could find them on http://www.always-fanfic.net/eFiction/ I think. I'm not sure of titles though. Sorry!
