AU in which Justin is raising his nephew

redrose_7272's recent request for fics featuring child-Gus reminded me of a story.

It's an AU in which Brian and Justin meet a few years later than canon. I can't remember if Brian is raising Gus in this one, or just spending a lot of time with him. I do remember that shortly after Brian and Justin meet, Justin becomes the guardian of his nephew. (Molly is closer in age to Justin than in canon.) The nephew's dad was a marine and has died; Molly is just too irresponsible to be interested in raising her son.

Gus and Justin's nephew hit it off and become instant best friends. A cute detail: After nephew admires Gus's leather-wearing "Daddy Bear", Brian goes to a Build A Bear store and makes him his own "Daddy Bear," one wearing a marine uniform and angel wings.
