Failed filing of Gus custody papers

Looking for a fic where it comes to light that the papers where Brian signs over his legal rights to Gus was never filed - and therefore not legally binding. I *think* that this comes out after the girls (Melanie) holds the papers over his head several times and threatens to revoke his visitation with Gus.

Sorry, that was the only place I have seen the fic and I don't know if Kaite has an LJ. Maybe someone has a copy saved to their hard drive. I'll check to see if I have a good copy of it and let you know.

It isn't finished but she is still writing. She mentioned that she will be putting up a new chapter soon. She has also recently written two short stories for a challenge which are in the same universe.
