This is a story where they are married or at least exchanged rings and something bad happens and Brian starts pulling away. Gus is living with them and he is still pretty young. The one thing I remember the most is that they have been monogomous and Brian gets drunk and sleeps with someone else. He doesn't remember til the next morning and he won't let Justin touch him until he has taken a shower. Having used that excuse before, Justin knows Brian cheated and leaves. I hope someone can tell me what this fic is.

...the part you described sounds like a scene from "An Inconceivable Secret" which is the sequel to "A Precious Secret." I don't have a link, but both are on Midnight Whispers.
