I haven't read a fic where Michael hits Gus, but AzureOpal's fic 'Clarity' has a scene where Michael hits Justin's son (Finley) at Deb's house after Christmas dinner and both Brian and Justin flip out. The fic is the second story in a three story series, 'Always', 'Clarity', and 'Catalyst'.

That's the scene in 'Clarity' by AzureOpal. Justin's 1 yr old son, Finley, grabs Mikey's comic book from the table and the cover rips. Michael slaps his hand hard enough to turn it bright red which enrages Justin and Brian.
