Ok, looking for a story where Brian and Justin decided to fight for custody of Gus. Brian's attorney does some digging and finds out Mel and Lindz never filed the papers where Brian signed his rights away to Gus so Mel could adopt him. That's the main plot point that is standing out for me.
Any help finding this would be wonderful.

Eye noes!!! My google bookmarks are an effin mess, Court. I have all kinds of fics saved, and cant remember half of them. I figure if I can get them into fandom folders, I'd be doing good.

oh jeez. Multiple fandoms? I'd be sunk! If I actually bookmarked fics, they'd prolly be a mess, too, 'cause it's so easy to click and go. What I have, I've saved to Word, so it's pretty easy. Sid told me the other day she's got, like, 7500 fics saved. 7500!!!!!!! Talk about your own library. I need that many. ;)

I need to save what I've bookmarked. I'm lame like that. I do have a bunch saved, and one of my fave LOTR writers has a series she's been writing for over 4 years and she sent me the hard copies. I love her!!

an easy way to organize bookmarks...

I just found out about this site, delicious.com, and it is sooo easy to tag bookmarks and organize them in whatever detailed manner you want!

I just started to go through the million bookmarks I have so my list is far from 'complete', however here's my page if you want to look at an example: http://delicious.com/kitimmer

That is incredibly helpful! The only downside is they're still links. I've gotten paranoid recently with a number of early fandom writers and site maintainers taking their work/sites off-line and then, if you don't have the actual fic saved, the link isn't going to do you a bit of good. ;)
