I think when I started reading I read the alternative strain of the series.. the one that ends in Patrick's Story or something similar.. I really loved that arc so I was sort of reluctant to read the actual series. Everyone seems to have a great opinion about it thought so I'll probably have another go at it. Will probably take me 6 years to catch up lol :-)
