A commercial for Macy's made me think of this story, but I can't remember where I found it the first time.
In the story, Brian works for a major department store and they are trying to bring in the customers at Christmas. They hire Justin, who comes up this theme. In the process, Brian and Justin fall in love. It also features Gus.
