Alex story

A while ago I read a story about Brian going to the cancer Dr. and meeting up with Alex the psychiatrist who was sick. He and Brian had a nice friendship as Alex got sicker and sicker. Does that sound familiar? I really like Alex but no one ever seems to write stories with him.

Thank you that is the one I was looking for. I thought I had it bookmarked but I couldn't find it. It is really good story but sad.
