Justin in NY much younger, still makes his way through art

Hi everyone, I stumbled over a fic summary in an old comment and was wondering if anyone knows this story: 

I recall a fic where Justin stayed in NYC and instead of peddling his ass, he peddles his art and ends up getting taken in & hired by some reclusive artist/graphic designer who basically mentors/sponsors/hires Justin and gives him a room, etc... Year or so later Brian ends up in NYC on business and has meeting with the company and if I recall correctly recognizes Justin's art in the guy's place/office.
I think there was some other Justin-angst! issue, but overall he had made his way via his art & talent, rather than his ass apart from Brian. I *think* I did have some Brian characterization issues with this fic and I can't recall the author....
