Another recommendation are all series by thyme especially "the candidate" here http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/TF/Candidate.htm and "my only sunshine" here http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/SFF8a.htm Generally a lot of the series on the moonshadow tribe have at least a semi-happy ending.
