His journal is f-locked and you will need to be friended to read it.

On his userpage it states that you have to be over 18 for him to friend you back. I looked at your page and you don't have your birthdate listed. Make sure you add that before you friend him. Anymore, most people won't friend anyone back unless their birthdate is listed.
