Go into the getithere memories and you will list of fanfic that people have requested. I quite often look at what others are asking for and find that I really enjoy the stories.
If you don't want to do this start off with Vamphile, Xie, Shadownyc, alicesprings, fansee, sydneyalexis to name but a few,
