daemons?

I'm looking for a fic (I think it was actually two drabbles) that were based on the idea of daemons from the Philip Pullman trilogy "His Dark Materials". Brian and Justin each had a daemon and they met... and that's all I really remember. I know this sounds sort of cracky, but I swear they were really beautiful drabbles. I saw The Golden Compass last night (based on the first book in the trilogy... it was sooooo good!) and remembered the drabbles and now I really want to read them again, but I have no idea where they were posted!

I was positive it was written for a drabbles crossover challenge, but when I went to look at the drabbles for that week, I didn't find it. I remember commenting on it. Maybe there was a second crossover? Ask happier_bunny, she might be able to point you.

you're welcome! i really wanted to read them after reading this post so i sat my ass down and searched. i had to go back through about 500 hundred entries (which wasn't as horrible as it sounds) and came across them finally. totally worth it. they were absolutely lovely.

i simply went back a page and then changed it to skip 500 in the address bar until it came up on the crossover challenge. i had to go back one more page and there it was.
