Heart-breaking Fics

This may be the masochist in me, but I'm looking for totally heartbreaking but still B/J love in the end fics. I can't seem to get my fill on reading about them making it despite insurmountable  odds.

sorry for not having any links...I'm not exactly the queen of links here (I'm always the one asking for links, never providing them...=[)...but...

you should definitely read Queer Theories (you must have HUGE amounts of patience though for that story...)

although, I totally agree with tawny 7...I had to prevent myself from throwing the computer, including the monitor, across the room...It's VERY well written though, and I was addicted even though I was ready to set fire to my computer and scream at the top of my lungs...

that sounds so horrible, doesn't it? =]

hello Mel,
I can't help being more and more curious about the fic after reading your comment but I can't help thinking also that it is the perfect fic for me :D
It does sound horrible but it also does sound beautiful (does that make me a freak or what?!). I can't wait to finish the whole story and go completely insane.

that definitely doesn't make you a freak...It really is a beautiful fic and the way Brian is portrayed is so deep and revealing, and just depressing at some points! Definitely find time to read it though...but don't let it take over your life! I was hooked! And your decription fits it perfectly...you want heartbreak? you got it from, like, the 1st chapter...but in the end all is well...sorta...=]

but the horrible side? The character of Ron. I don't know if you know the storyline, but I was ready to murder that character the moment he stepped into the scene...I HATED that character (he's the one that made me wanna break my computer in half...lol.), but LOVED the storyline that came with him...if you're a hardcore B/J fan like me, you'll probably...er, most likely...won't like him.

did you actually start to read it? (you have to read it straight through, or nothing will make sense)

and your welcome (I went insane over it to...it's got sequels, so be prepared for even more drama...)

I'm talking WAY TOO MUCH right now...I'll shut up...for the time being...=]

I've just finished copying it to Word and get this, IT TOOK 1,800+ pages!!! ohmy! it just boggles the mind. I took a peek every once in a while, and I've seen Ron's character but haven't really "known" him yet. So I'm actually looking forward to hating him (*biased*)
I'll take your advise and read it all the way, so goodbye sleep and food! It's a good thing that the holidays are coming up or else it will be goodbye work for me too :D
Thank you so much for "making" me finally read this. I was soo intimidated before by its sheer length and was staying away from it. Now its time to be a "man" about this and just dive into the drama that is B/J :D
I'm also talking a lot and will now shut up......and read!

I tried not to be biased toward him...for like the 1st few chapters, but I couldn't help but hate him...and pity him, too, but that's somehting else entirely...
