This is kind of hazy, but I'll do my best.

Brian and Justin were kids in a foster home/orphanage/whatever together, and Brian played the "big brother" role to Justin until finally Justin got adopted. Then there was a timeskip, and years later, Brian (who may or may not have been with Lindsay at the time, in some sort of weird relationship thing) came upon Justin again, who was all beaten up and possibly hustling. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
