Well, this won't help much, except that I'm currently in the process of writing one. Should be done in like a week.

I can think of two, the first was a short fic by, I believe burnitbackwards, who wrote five alternate endings for prom night, which don't end in Justin's bashing. Then, there was one by I think CrazyFairy, where Justin was attacked, but only got a broken arm, not bashed in the head. I'll see if I can find links.

Also, in suzvoy's The Things I Cannot Change, which is like an alternate version of Season 1 that follows most of the show plot, Justin is attacked, but not that badly injured.

Damn that last one was a pain to find! All of BIBW's fics have very poetic and UNDESCRIPTIVE titles. >:|
