getithere | Mod Post: Let's stick to good old-fashioned posts, k?

What we mean by that is, when you post, please ignore the "Try out new post editor" option that LJ started giving a while back.

These posts - with the repost buttons for Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, etc. along the bottom of them - look a bit weird on the main page, very different once you click into them, and (as the one who tags) even tagging them is way different. If you've done one of these posts, absolutely no worries! But we would prefer to keep to the old style of post from now on. (I feel oddly stodgy saying this, but that new post editor bugs me, I can't help it! Please humor me? lol)

I'll sticky this for a bit. Not making a rule about it yet, just a request.

ETA: I actually drafted this post several months ago but kept it hidden because I thought possibly the new post editor had gone bye-bye. Just finally making it visible now that I see it's still around.
