Mod Post: Question for everyone...

Hello!

The comm's professional LJ package runs out in about a week.  It still seems that you have to pay LJ in Russian money, and my credit cards are not with Russian banks, so I don't know how to pay.

There's a Russian equivalent of PayPal, called YooMoney, but I'm not really comfortable with it, especially since signing up is apparently quite a process and involves uploading your passport, something I don't even have.

Here's the thing.  I've been looking at the differences between the professional package and the free package.  And I kind of think we could switch to free and be okay.

Free gets way less storage... but we don't use any of our allotted storage, anyway. 
Free can't use premium styles... but our style doesn't appear to be premium.
Free can only have 30 userpics... We currently have 36 but I didn't even realize we had any lol, as I never post as "getithere" and only use my own userpics.

I was worried about a possible limit on tags (as we have almost 2000), but that doesn't seem to be a thing.
Edit: See comments, it's apparently a 4000 limit... I think we'll be fine there 😂

I think the only real change would be ads appearing on the comm.  Ads are annoying.  But would they be tolerable for you?

I want to confirm with someone at LJ support that my thoughts are correct.  But, if they are and the only real change here would be ads, what would you all think?  Would anyone stop visiting or posting?
