Is Steps by shadowfax044 a WIP?

Steps by shadowfax044 is fan sequel to Breakneck by methylethyl, written with the original author's consent. Justin has a baby with a girl at school who dies, leaving Justin to raise baby Luke. Breakneck is written mostly from Justin's perspective, with Steps continuing the story more from Brian's POV.

The version of Steps on Archive of Our Own ends at Chapter 8 and appears to be a WIP. I thought I had read a full version but now I can't find it so maybe I am confusing it with another story. Does anyone know if Steps was finished, and if it was, where to find the full story?

While continuing to dig for this, I found a follow on story by the original author (set after the time of both the original and the fan sequel).
