court1429 requested that I post the following:
plasticine_star recommended www.diigo.com as an alternative. It will import your delicious bookmarks and tags (though not the tag bundles). I just joined and followed their instructions for saving my personal delicious bookmarks as an html file and am doing the import now. No idea how long it will take. It depends on the size of your bookmark file and how many other people are trying to do the same thing. If nothing else, though, definitely save your bookmarks as an html file. Diigo will send an email when the transfer is complete and I'll post how long it took, just as an FYI.
Definitely pass the word in all the comms and to anyone whose fandom bookmarks you view on a frequent basis who might not frequent LJ.
Netlagd, will you add this info about diigo into your post by the Digg and Reddit info, please? I've never used them except to "vote" something up. I didn't think they were actual bookmarking sites. I think Google's also got a bookmarks tool, but I've never looked at it.
