1) Justin doesn't meet Brian first. He's in a relationship - or something - with a pretty dangerous, dominant guy. He meets Brian, the inevitable happens. I remember one part where Justin's in the diner and Brian tells Emmett (I think) not to let him out of his sight. Justin goes to the bathroom and is taken by the guy. I think when Brian finds him he's all beaten up and on a cross.
2) I think it's a post-Ethan AU - but Brian and Justin are split. Justin dates lots of guys but isn't really serious about them. I think this is the same fic. But there's an art competition - and Lindsay advises that Justin shouldn't win - out of loyalty to Brian - or so she says. Brian and Justin end up back together at some dance I think - where Brian comes up to him and tells him he's ready.
