I've been looking for a fic (I only read a short passasge, a preview on someone's LJ) during the week of Thanksgiving.  The part I read was Brian talking to Deb about the prom dance (Justin's there as well) and he tells her that when they were dancing, he realized that he was ready to take a chance and let himself love Justin.  Then Justin gets bashed and after that, Justin was"... lost to him forever." (or something to that effect).  Does this sound familiar?

I'm looking for a fic where Brian sleeps with Michael and then dumps Justin. Justin still babysits Gus until Michael shows up one day and takes that away from him, too. After that he kind of disappears from the lives of the "family", and winds up being a waiter. Only he's having money problems, and so his friend Trevor (?) suggests that he start hustling, but only to one man who has only one request: that Justin wear a blindfold. Turns out the guy is Brian, but Justin doesn't know that. that's pretty much as far as my memory goes. Any help finding it would be lovely. Thanks in advance!!

Prequels

I'm looking for one specific thing, but similar fics are wanted as well.

I've been reading a lot of prequels lately and now that I've run out I need more. I either need Brian in high school or college. And no, I don't need B/J highschool fics and I definitely don't need fics that insinuate that Brian and Justin met before the show began when Justin was a little boy. I just need fics centered on Brian before Queer as Folk. Things like the Brian/Michael or Brian/Lindsay friendships and especially former relationships of Brian's.

One specific one I remember but can't find is about a guy that continuously cheated on Brian (I think it was while he was in college) and Brian continued to forgive him and take him back until the guy left him to, I guess, prevent himself from causing more pain. There's one specific scene in which Brian asks the guy how much he loves him and the guy says "more than" either my life or the world and Brian replies with "liar". It was pretty AU, but that's okay with me.

Any and all recs would be greatly appreciated.
