The fic mentioned in the post I linked has Lindsay in a pretty bad downward spiral later on in the story, but earlier and throughout most of it has Michael delusional to criminal levels and spending quite a bit of time in prison/mental hospital.

There's the unfinished "Cause I Miss You" series by Shelly Elwell. Mikey really goes nuts. It's in 3 parts, unfinished (abandoned) but at about 83k words...there's plenty of M going evilly bonkers & getting caught. Not to be spoilerish but this is the 1 with Mikey, the old folks & a RV.
I think the DL at Aly's GIH 4-Shared Mirror site only has part 1?? You need to go further than that. Also, at the ATP site, I think you have to stick with reading chapter by chapter. When I click 'story' (on the printer symbol) on this 1, it comes out more like a .txt file, with all the spaces between paragraphs gone...but in the individual chapters, it's fine. ??
