Brian Won't Take Justin Back After Ethan

All I remember about this fic is that it included the "I've decided you should take me back" scene, but Brian tells Justin "no." I assume they do eventually get back together, but I don't remember how.

It was a 308 gap filler and was really good. I think the premise was that Brian had a really bad time after Justin left and worked really hard to get over Justin and couldn't afford to put himself at risk again. Justin thought he would take him back just by asking.

I know I have the story, but I can't remember the name. :(

Thanks. Unfortunately, that's not it. The one I'm describing was exactly like the show up until Justin's "you should take me back" speech, but Brian ends up saying no, then it goes off cannon.

I think that story is over on midnight whispers. After Brian rejects Justin, is he waiting around to see what Justin plans to do, like be his old persisting/stalker like-self like in season 1 but only to find out he left the Pitts?

I read the story when I first discovered QAF stories. Justin tells Brian that he should take him back. Brian tells him no. As you read you find out that Brian declines because he's afraid of being hurt again. It took him some time to get over the hurt when Justin originally left. Justin has to mend Brian's broken heart and earn his trust. I've been looking for months. This was the story that led me Brian and Justin. Because of this story I bought the series. So if you find it please let me know. Please
